Privacy Policy — Orauria AI Assistant

Last updated: April 3, 2026

1. Summary

The Extension is a productivity / AI browsing assistant operated by Orauria (https://orauria.com).

You authenticate by signing in with Google to your Orauria account.

Chats, notes, clipboard history, and settings are stored locally on your device by default.

Content is sent to Orauria servers (https://orauria.com) only when you use AI features (chat, selection tools, note AI, image/video generation, vision/snip analysis, and similar).

We do not sell your personal information.

This notice complements the general site policy at https://orauria.com/privacy-policy.

2. Information stored on your device

Depending on features you use, the Extension may store locally (Chrome storage / IndexedDB): session credentials after Google / Orauria sign-in and preference settings (theme, language, model, page-context toggle); cached account display fields (for example email, display name, photo URL, available credits); chat conversations and per-conversation instructions; notes (title, tags, rich text, optional page highlights); Clipboard History items captured when you copy/cut text on web pages (or when you capture from the panel); and temporary pending selection/image payloads used to open the side panel.

This local data stays on your device unless you clear extension data or uninstall.

3. Information sent to Orauria when you use AI

When you send a chat message, run a selection action (Ask / Rewrite / Translate / Summarize), use note AI assist, generate an image or video, attach/snip an image for analysis, or use similar AI tools, the Extension may transmit to https://orauria.com (API): your session credential (as a Bearer token) for authentication and billing; prompts and messages you submit; optional page context you enabled (for example URL, title, meta description, selected text, and structured page signals extracted for tools); image data you explicitly attach, snip, or send via context menu for AI analysis; and parameters needed for media generation jobs you start.

Orauria processes these requests to return AI responses / media results and to account for usage/credits under your Orauria account terms.

4. Account information

Account profile, wallet/credits, and sign-in are handled by your Orauria account on the website (for example https://orauria.com/login and https://orauria.com/profile). The Extension opens a secure sign-in flow, exchanges a short-lived token for a session, and may call account endpoints (such as reading available credits) while you are signed in.

5. Clipboard History

If Clipboard History is enabled/used, the Extension listens for copy/cut events on websites (content script) and may save the copied text locally. You can also capture the current clipboard from the Extension UI (requires clipboard permission).

Clipboard items are not automatically uploaded to Orauria. They are only included in an AI request if you paste them, use “Use in Chat”, or otherwise send them as part of a prompt.

Do not use Clipboard History for secrets you do not want stored on the device. Clear history anytime from the Extension UI or by removing extension data in Chrome.

6. Page access & content scripts

The Extension can run on websites you visit in order to read optional page context for AI chat/tools, provide snip / selection helpers, and capture copy/cut text for Clipboard History.

It does not replace the page’s main experience with ads. Tools that analyze a page send results to the side panel for you to review; they are not intended to submit forms or make purchases on your behalf without your action.
